“Lilith” Is an LGBTQ+ story of survival. Lily, a woman in her early 20s, is forced into an arranged marriage by her religious parents after they discover that she is Bisexual and in a relationship with a woman from university. Lily’s life becomes a living nightmare, suffering under the roof of her abusive husband Adam and his cruel tyrant of a father. After Lily manages to escape the violence of her father-in-law’s house, she begins her journey to gain her freedom and reclaim her power, openly defying all those who would try to keep her a prisoner.
Lily’s story of overcoming abuse and the patriarchy is a modern retelling of the infamous Lilith, from Judeo-Christian mythology, the first wife of the biblical Adam, who after refusing to submit to him, fled the Garden of Eden and claimed her divine power, becoming a Goddess to some, and a Demon to others.

"Stolas" is the first digital novella by author Rowan le Fay.

Set in England in the early 90s, two gay teachers, working in an all-boys academy during the legislative designation of Section 28, must hide their true feelings towards each other and deny who they really are, while enduring the constant harassment from their homophobic colleagues. Mr Stolas the science teacher must make the impossible choice between his love of teaching or his love of Lucien the Art teacher. Which will he choose?
The fictional story of “Stolas” has themes of drama, political issues, LGBTQ+ issues, and romance, as well as mirroring the mythology of Lucifer’s fall from heaven and the Angels who fell with him. One of these Fallen Angels is the Demon Prince Stolas

*Readers please be advised that this story makes frequent references to bullying, homophobic slurs and derogatory language for the purposes of historical accuracy and to educate readers of the ugliness of intolerance, that members of the LGBTQ+ community endure even to this day.

About Rowan

"I've always had a vivid imagination and these stories which I've jealously guarded like a dragon's hoard. However, I no longer want to keep my work a secret.  It is time to share the worlds that I have built, the magic I have created and the characters who seem to have brought themselves to life without any help from me."
